Douai and Cambrai

Two cities which have a long history. I suggest, if you can, a 2 hour guided tour in each of them . In Douai, a chime concert will be one of your trip’s Highlights. Then, walking in the “Vieux Douai” you will admire the Town Hall and the Belfry, the Scarpe River banks, the Old Parliament, the Town Theater…without forgetting the Gayant Family Giants, UNESCO World Heritage. A little bit further from Lille, Cambrai, and its rich religious heritage: Notre Dame Cathedral, Saint Géry Church, the Jesuits Chapel…You add the Spanish timber-framed House, the quiet streets of the “Vieux Cambrai” and you have a wonderful tour !
