Vimy site and Lorette : WW1 Artois Battles

Witness the Vimy Memorial, the preserved tunnels and trenches where Canadian troops stormed the German forces in April 1917. The unity of the country was forged in Vimy. Not far from Vimy, we can visit Lorette Cemetery and Basilica, a place of remembrance for the French nation. We finish with the Vimy Remembrance Ring which was inaugurated in 2014 by François Hollande. This tour can be combined with the Arras visit.

Fromelles , 1916, the Australian Forces Battle

Close to Lille, this village was the site of an appalling tragedy that plunges us into the horrors experienced by the Australian soldiers during the First World War. The “Cobbers statue” depicts “the worst 24 hours for the Australian Nation”.

This visit can be combined with Vimy-Lorette tour or Ypres visit.
